Women’s group in the Church of Scotland
Women in the Church of Scotland enjoy sharing a varied programme of events and outings. To cater for diverse schedules, these activities are organised: at lunchtime – for those who have commitments during business hours; during the day – for those with a little more spare time; and in the evening for everyone!
The regular lunchtime meetings are usually held on the first Monday of each month at the ‘Open House’, World Council of Churches, starting at 12h15 and costing just CHF10.
The Women’s Group is open to all ladies in Geneva. Some events are also open to the men – please check the church calendar for details. Activities range from cinema outings to light informal lunches with guest speakers; from walks by the river or lake to pancake evenings. Each year, a BBQ celebrates the beginning of the summer when the Group takes a short break. Activities are resumed in September.
